First let me say that I have Direct TV AND subscribe to HBO. That being said, I have been trying for more than a week to "activate" my Samsung Smart TV to use the HBOGO app. I go to www.hbogo.com/activate and follow the instruction on both the website and the TV (entering the activation code, etc) and I ALWAYS get a message that HBOGO "cannot be activated at this time". Can someone out there (are you paying attention, Direct TV and/or HBO people?) tell me when exactly one CAN ACTIVATE THE DEVICE? TV is connected to Direct TV, all the other apps work. I don't mean to sound snarky but the availability of tech support from Direct TV leaves a little to be desired (is there a chat site? A telephone number to get tech support?).
