I'm wondering if anyone is seeing this issue. I have a Nomad unit (now GenieGo) that was working fine until the recent app update to the iPad app. I am still able to see my recordings on the playlist, but when it asks me to approve download (of current scheduled recordings) or I request to have a recording from the DVR playlist transcoded to my GenieGo and then downloaded to my iPad, the app crashes.
I've tried everything - resets of the GenieGo/Nomad, reloading the app software on my iPad, etc. All to no avail.
I can stream the recordings on the playlist fine. But I can no longer download them to my iPad.
DirecTV CSR says it is because I am not using the DECA units.. since I'm not using the Whole Home configuration and I've never had any issues for over a year or more (I have my DVRs connected via Ethernet - together with the Nomad/GenieGo - to my network), I'm thinking this is the app that is causing the issue. I've also thought it might be that my Nomad/GenieGo is very old (I got it very early when they became available) and any software updates to it have failed.
