I love to use my Directv for tablets mobile app to manage my account and play around with my receivers. I only use the Android version of the mobile app, and before recently it had been working very good. Now when I try to log into the mobile app, it gives me the error "Unable to retrieve configuration". It should be noted that I can use the same app and put my grandfather's account information in and it will log me in and I can do whatever I want with his account. I can see his receivers, but I cannot access them because I am NOT on his Wi-Fi service at his home. But I think that this proves that there is not a problem with the mobile app itself, just my account. I have had some recent activity on my account, I swapped 1 receiver, added a wireless bridge, and added two wireless mini Genie receivers. The receiver that I swapped was my main Genie receiver. I replaced it with the newer version that I purchased from solid signal.com. All of my receivers in my home work correctly and are all connected to the Internet. I have tested every one of them and I cannot find a problem in any way shape or form. The tricky part about this whole situation is that I can log on to my direct tv app on my mobile phone that is not for tablets and everything works fine. As soon as I switch to the DirecTV app for tablets I cannot even log in and I get that unable to retrieve configuration error message. I contacted Directv and they told me that they were escalating my situation to the engineers but I was wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions on what could be causing the problem.
