DirecTV App for iOS will not accept login/password

I rejoined DirecTV in 2014. I have the Choice+ entertainment package. I am unable to login to the DirecTV mobile app using the login and password that works for the DirecTV website. I have called in and spoken to technical support many times in the last year and each time we have restarted my phone, reinstalled the app, reset my password, and I am still unable to login to the mobile application. In addition to this problem, when using television mobile applications (example: CNN app) I identify my satellite provider, login using the DirecTV login and password that work on the DirecTV website, and the application then tells me that CNN is not an authorized channel in my DirecTV package even when it is. Any thoughts, suggestions, or solutions would be greatly appreciated as this issue has going on for almost a year.
