MLB.tv Account Loses Authentication

This usually happens to me once or twice a season. My MLB.tv will randomly lose its authentication. My MLB.tv account will show that I do not have any video or audio subscriptions. I subscribe to MLB Extra Innings which has MLB.tv included. Each time it has occurred DirecTV points their fingers at MLB.tv and MLB.tv points their fingers at DirecTV. But it ultimately comes down to this: DirecTV renews the MLB.tv account and there is no way for me to do that directly with MLB.tv. DirecTV must do that. For some reason they let the authentication lapse instead of renewing it for the entire season. Each time I call in the representative has clearly never heard of the problem (usually they don't even know what MLB.tv is) and they always try to make me call MLB.tv support.

 

When trying to authenticate through MLB.tv I get the following message: "Authorization service was not able to complete authorization at this time. Please contact your pay TV provider." And every time DirecTV tells me to contact MLB.tv. And every time it turns into a multiple hours (sometimes multiple days) issue despite them having access to my notes from the previous time this occurred.

 

The most recent occurrence I was told there was a national outage. However, it took 1 hour 28 minutes for them to tell me this. Each time before it was an issue with my individual account. This is awful.
